Churck Wagon Ministry

Not only does Cowboy Crossing Church Have a Chuck Wagon that was built in 1904, they also have a team of really nice Percheron mules to pull the wagon. The chuck wagon ministry is one of our means of outreach to our community it helps create awareness of our church and the cowboy culture. We use it in parades, rodeos and for chuck wagon cookin’. You can find our guys cooking at church, rodeos, concerts, and for dutch oven cobbler cooking contest, (which by the way, they won there last competition). The chuck wagon draws a lot of attention at events when they set up with hot coffee on the fire, a pot of stew, and dutch oven cobblers, it is a great time for the men folk to gather around the fire with a hot mug of coffee and visit about cowboy church. The chuck wagon is a great way to reach folks that may not be a team roper, rancher, or rodeo cowboy, but they love the western culture and the LORD.
